The GreenBerry logistics platform, located near Bourges and acquired by TwentyTwo Real Estate on behalf of TwentyTwo Real Estate Fund lll, will soon be home to the French division of Haier Europe, the world leader in major household appliances*, which includes the Candy, Hoover, Rosières and Haier brands.
The 79,595 m² platform, located at La Chapelle St Ursin near Bourges (Centre-Val de Loire), will be delivered and partially occupied by the teams of Haier Europe in Q1 2024. Haier Europe has signed a 12-year fixed lease in future state of completion for 46,341 m².
The site was acquired by TwentyTwo Real Estate on the 12 th of July, 2022, to meet the demand for large- floorplates grade A warehouses in France. Its location on the A71, in the heart of the country, offers a strategic location for this European distribution player.
GreenBerry features excellent technical and environmental specifications. The site is BREEAM Very Good certified and complies with the commitments of the Afilog charter. Starting in 2025, the platform will house a solar panel power plant on its roof with a capacity of 8.6 MWh. In addition, photovoltaic canopies will also be installed on its parking lots, whose electricity production will be offered to the tenants for auto- consumption, thereby contributing to the decarbonisation of their supply chains.

Following this commercialisation, TwentyTwo Real Estate will plant 4,631 trees in Turquestein-Blancrupt, Moselle. As part of its commitment to protecting biodiversity and in line with its ESG approach, the Group has undertaken to support Reforest’ Actions forestry projects by financing the planting of trees for any surface let on assets held by its funds under management.
