The 79,595 m\u00b2 platform, located at La Chapelle St Ursin near Bourges (Centre-Val de Loire), will be delivered and partially occupied by the teams of Haier Europe in Q1 2024. Haier Europe has signed a 12-year fixed lease in future state of completion for 46,341 m\u00b2.<\/p>\n

The site was acquired by TwentyTwo Real Estate on the 12 th of July, 2022, to meet the demand for large- floorplates grade A warehouses in France. Its location on the A71, in the heart of the country, offers a strategic location for this European distribution player.<\/p>\n

GreenBerry features excellent technical and environmental specifications. The site is BREEAM Very Good certified and complies with the commitments of the Afilog charter. Starting in 2025, the platform will house a solar panel power plant on its roof with a capacity of 8.6 MWh. In addition, photovoltaic canopies will also be installed on its parking lots, whose electricity production will be offered to the tenants for auto- consumption, thereby contributing to the decarbonisation of their supply chains.<\/p>\n

Nicolas Lutg\u00e9, Director of Commercial Asset Management at TwentyTwo Real Estate comments:<\/strong> “We are very pleased with this pre-commercialisation to Haier Europe, which has chosen the GreenBerry platform, a centrally-located, latest-generation site, to revitalise its strategic distribution plan and better support its deployment in the French market<\/em>.\u201d<\/p>\n

Charles-Alain Labit, Logistics Director for Haier Europe in France, comments:<\/strong> “By relocating our logistics activities to the new GreenBerry site, our teams will benefit from ideal working conditions and ultra-modern facilities to generate first-rate logistics performance and customer service quality. This further step in our <\/em>strategy of transformation towards operational excellence also enables the Group to pursue its growth strategy on the French market, and confirms its ambitions to become the leader in large household appliances, while ensuring a zero-distance approach to its consumers<\/em>“.<\/p>\n

Following this commercialisation, TwentyTwo Real Estate will plant 4,631 trees in Turquestein-Blancrupt, Moselle. As part of its commitment to protecting biodiversity and in line with its ESG approach, the Group has undertaken to support Reforest’ Actions forestry projects by financing the planting of trees for any surface let on assets held by its funds under management.<\/p>\n
